Rangers teenager Gedion Zelalem has extended his loan deal with the Ibrox club until the end of the 2015/16 season.

The 18-year old midfielder, who is on loan from Premier League side Arsenal, has featured 15 times for Rangers this campaign.

He returned to the Championship side on Saturday for the 6-0 win against Dumbarton after missing the Falkirk and Hibernian matches over the festive period.

The young American has also been in action with the USA Olympic squad as they prepare for this summer's Olympic games in Rio, Brazil.

Zelalem, who has made two substitute appearances for Arsene Wenger's side, has another year and a half left on his Arsenal contract.

Harry Forrester and goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski have already joined the Light Blues in the January transfer window.
