No deaths among confirmed coronavirus patients have been recorded in the past ten days.
The latest Scottish Government figures show there were four new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases across the country to 18,551.
The number of deaths of patients who tested positive remains at 2,491.
The latest results come from more than 9,106 completed Covid tests in the last 24-hour period, meaning 0.2% of those tested were diagnosed with the virus.
Every week, National Records of Scotland publishes the numbers of everyone who has died with Covid-19 cited on their death certificate – including both confirmed and suspected cases.
Under that measurement, a total of 4193 deaths had occurred involving Covid-19 as of Sunday, July 19.
Reacting to the statistics, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said: “Very relieved to report yet another day in Scotland with no deaths of people who had tested positive for Covid.
“The 4 new positive cases (0.2% of people newly tested) will be looked at closely and followed up through Test & Protect. Please keep following all the #FACTS advice.”
Despite the low case numbers in recent days, people travelling back into Scotland from Spain will be asked to self-isolate for two weeks after the country was taken off a quarantine exempt list on Saturday night.
