Two Premiership games among 12 called off throughout the country

Two Premiership games are among 12 matches lost to the weather this weekend as parts of the country is gripped by freezing conditions.

Livingston’s game against Dundee United is off due to a frozen pitch as if St Mirren’s trip to Motherwell in the top division with three also off in the Championship and League One and four in League Two.

In the Championship Dundee vs Cove Rangers is off due to stadium damage caused by freezing weather and Hamilton Academical vs Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Queen’s Park’s trip to Morton are also off.

In League One Airdrieonians vs Dunfermline Athletic, Alloa Athletic vs Falkirk and Peterhead vs Clyde are all off but Queen of the South vs Kelty Hearts is on after a pitch inspection.

In League two only Annan Athletic vs Bonnyrigg Rose will take place with all other fixtures, including Albion Rovers vs Elgin City, Dumbarton vs Stenhousemuir, East Fife vs Stranraer and Stirling Albion vs Forfar Athletic.

No other pitch inspections are currently planned.
