Two men have been arrested in Scotland in connection with the murder of a man in Northern Ireland.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland, investigating the death of 51-year-old Nicholas (Nicky) Gordon in east Belfast, said two arrests were made in Scotland on Monday.
Mr Gordon was assaulted in the Holywood Road area of Belfast on Tuesday, May 12 and died in hospital as a result of his injuries on May 16.
The men, aged 25 and 31, were arrested by Police Scotland officers on Monday.
Arrangements will be made for their return to Northern Ireland, where they will be questioned by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
They said enquiries are ongoing.
