Road, rail and train services are facing further disruption as wintry conditions continue across Scotland with two warnings for snow and ice issued.
The first Met Office warning comes into place at 4pm on Thursday and is set to expire at 10am on Friday.
The warning covers the Highlands, Moray, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Orkney Islands and Shetland Islands.
Some affected areas on lower levels could see 1-3cm of snowfall, with levels reaching 5-10cm on higher ground.
Forecasters warned the conditions will lead to “difficult” driving conditions and travel disruption.
The Met Office added that sleet is more likely along windward coasts at times, leading to ice formation on untreated surfaces overnight.
Forecasters said road, bus and rail services are likely to be affected by the wintry conditions and warned customers to expect longer journeys.
A yellow warning for ice also comes into place for parts of Scotland at 5pm on Thursday and will expire at 10am on Friday.
Police Scotland urged people not to take journeys unless “absolutely” necessary, as conditions in south Aberdeenshire continue to be “very poor.”
Network Rail confirmed the Far North Line remains closed as staff deal with three landslips and flooding.
The rail operator said the landslips are between Lairg-Rogart, at Bunchrew near Inverness and at Beauly.
Flooding at Beauly has also closed the line.
Network Rail confirmed the Highland Main Line has reopened following a successful safety inspection at Balavil Burn near Kingussie.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the snowgates on the A939 between Cockbridge and Tomintoul were closed on Wednesday and remain closed on Thursday.
ScotRail said that further inspections would be carried out on Tuesday morning along routes in the Highlands.

The wintry conditions are set to continue into the weekend with a yellow warning for snow issued for from Saturday until Monday.
The warning covers the Falkirk, the Scottish Borders and Strathclyde.
