Thousands of young people across Scotland are set to receive their exam results.
Students will be able to receive their grades by text or email from Tuesday morning.
Traditional results certificates will also be sent out to households by first class post.
The SQA will open its helpline from 8am to help pupils who have questions about their certificates.
This year, formal national exams returned for the first time since before the Covid pandemic.
A more “generous” approach has been followed by the SQA this year to help ensure fairness for learners, the accreditations body has said.
Schools will also receive the results of students, as well as any universities or colleges that they have applied to through Ucas.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon expressed a message of good luck to those who will be receiving their results on Tuesday.
“Good luck to everyone expecting exam results”, she wrote on Twitter on Monday evening.
“It’s more than 30 years since I left school, but I still recall the anticipation/anxiety of results day.
“I know there will be much success to celebrate – but remember the @skillsdevscot helpline is there for advice.”
For those who receive their results and think that any of their grades don’t seem right, it may be possible to appel.
The SQA states that if a final grade is lower than the estimate of a learner’s school, college or training provider submitted before the exam, it may be possible to make an appeal.
If an appeal request is accepted, the SQA will then carry out a clerical check of the exam script and assignments.
SQA appointees – made up of practising teachers and lecturers – will review the assessment evidence.
The higher of the two grades will be awarded based on the two sources of evidence.
A deadline for priority appeals has been set for August 16, while the deadline for other appeals is August 30.
Decisions on priority appeals will be sent to schools on September 5.
The results of all other appeals are likely to be issued at the end of October.
