Ten people have died following an outbreak of coronavirus at a care home in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire.
A further nine residents of Mugdock House are self-isolating. Five have tested positive for the virus and three others have recovered from their symptoms.
The care home’s operator HC One say it’s providing support for all of its teams.
“Our thoughts and sympathies are with all families who have lost a loved one from coronavirus and we are doing our utmost to support them during this difficult time,” said a spokesperson for the home.
“Caring for our residents and supporting our colleagues is at the heart of what we do, and we are doing everything we can to make sure our residents and colleagues stay safe and well throughout these challenging times,” the spokesperson added.
The news comes after three suspected Covid-19 deaths were reported at another care home operated by HC One in Skye.
