Soft play centres across Scotland have opened their doors as the country enters level zero coronavirus restrictions.
The easing of social distancing means that many facilities are allowed to reopen for the first time since March 2020.
Last month soft play business owners had protested over the Scottish Government decision to keep them closed for more than a year.
Jennifer McNaughton, who manages Pandemonium soft play centre in Erskine, said it is finally time to celebrate the sector reopening.
She told STV News: It’s so good – it’s fabulous! It’s been 17 months in the making.
“I remember that dark day when we shut the doors but just to have this day of opening the doors and seeing all their smiley wee faces and they’re all bouncing up and down.
“For some of them it was their first ever time at soft play.
“They are all in there today just having a lovely time and as for the parents, you can just see their shoulders dropping down and they’re all just like ‘I needed this!’.
