Scots have been out soaking up the sun following the easing of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

On Saturday, people flocked to parks and beaches to safely reunite with family and friends.

Golfers returned to their local courses, whilst shoppers paid a visit to newly reopened garden centres.

Gone fishing: These fisherman enjoyed casting off on the Largs waterfront.

Park life: Members of the public flocked to The Meadows in Edinburgh.

On Your bike: This cyclist passed through Gullane in East Lothian.
Green-fingered: Shoppers visited the newly reopened Cardwell Garden Centre.

On Friday, the gradual route out of the Covid-19 lockdown began.

Scots are now allowed to meet friends or relatives from one other household outdoors as long as they stay two-metres apart.

People are also permitted to go outside as much as they like to sit and sunbathe in parks and other public spaces.
