A rare signed copy of James Bond novel ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ is one of several highly-prized collectable items being auctioned to raise money for pancreatic cancer.
The special limited edition, signed by Ian Fleming, is currently attracting a bid of £1000.
The auction also features unseen manuscript material from John le Carré and first editions of books authored by George Orwell, Truman Capote, DH Lawrence, Dylan Thomas and Roald Dahl.
The auction is being organised by Just Employment Law, who fundraise annually for Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland (PCAS).
It runs until November 18, which is World Pancreatic Awareness Day.
David McRae, managing director of Just Employment Law, told STV News he got involved with fundraising for cancer patients after losing his mother to pancreatic cancer in 2016.
He said: “The current auction is part of a series of fundraising events we organise for the charity – we have acquired and donated 100 prized lots to go under the hammer.
“The auction includes scarce and unique items such as rare author-signed first edition books. We have a 007 lot that includes a first edition signed by Ian Fleming and one signed by James Bond himself, George Lazenby.
“Fittingly, the auction ends on November 18 and we aim to close it by raising a fantastic sum for PCAS to fund research, awareness and support for those impacted by this awful disease.”
The auction has items that will interest fans of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Miles Davis and Frank Sinatra.
People can also bid for rare whiskies, golf and football items, watches, pens, jewellery and perfumes.
