Police appeal in search for woman missing from Scottish Borders Police Scotland

Police are appealing for information in the search for a missing woman from the Scottish Borders.

Louise Douglas, 47, was last seen in Selkirk at around 1pm on Wednesday, February 2.

She is described as being white, 5ft 2ins tall, of slim build with short brown hair and is believed to be wearing a dark blue coat and black leggings.

Ms Douglas is known to have links to the Eyemouth area.

Police Scotland said: “We are keen to establish Louise’s whereabouts as soon as possible as concern is growing for her welfare.

“In addition, we would ask Louise to get in touch with either family, friends, or police if she sees this and let us know she is safe and well.

“Any information which can assist with this inquiry would be greatly appreciated and should be reported to Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 3146 of February 2, 2022.”
