A bagpiper has described the moment he helped send off the Scotland squad to the Euros as an “incredible honour”.
Grant MacLeod, also known as Munro Bagpiper, helped send the team off in style to Germany as they boarded a coach.
It follows the Scotland team’s 2-2 draw against Finland in their final game before taking on hosts Germany on Friday in the opening match of Euro 2024.
Grant, who is aiming to play the bagpipes on every Munro in Scotland, posted about the special moment on Instagram, adding that the moment was “dream stuff”.
In an Instagram post, he said: “What can I say about today. 12 hours after coming off stage in Gloucester at midnight, I had the incredible honour of playing for the @scotlandnationalteam as they left to compete in #euro2024. Dream stuff!!!!”
