The Met Office has downgraded a yellow weather alert for heavy rain and strong winds, which were set to batter parts of Scotland.
The warning, which came into force at 9am on Saturday, covered Dumfries and Galloway, East Lothian, and the Scottish Borders.
Forecasters warned that rainfall may lead to flooding and travel disruption in some areas.
However by 11am, the Met Office said the alert would no longer affect Scotland.
The yellow alert will now only affect parts of Wales and northern England.
