First Bus has confirmed late-night journeys will operate to get fans home after watching Scotland’s World Cup games.
The bus firm said that an additional journey will operate on four of its NightBus services N2, N18, N240 and N267 across Glasgow.
Scotland’s first match against Haiti in Boston is on Sunday, June 14, and kicks off at 2am UK time.
Pubs and bars are being allowed to stay open up to 30 minutes after a game finishes.
The operator says the NightBus in Glasgow will run its usual timetable following Scotland’s second group game against Morocco on Friday, June 19 and then Brazil on Wednesday, June 24.
Both of those games kick off at 11pm UK time.
In Aberdeen, free night bus services, operated by First Bus, will run from the city centre to stops across the city and into Aberdeenshire for all three of Scotland’s group stage matches.
The services will operate on the early mornings of the three games, with the games all due to finish after midnight.
Max Cairns, network planning manager for First Bus in Scotland, said: “We’re as excited as all Scottish fans about our group games in the World Cup.
“Taking the bus is the easiest way to get into the city. And by extending these services into the early hours, we’re playing our part in helping to make sure fans can experience the excitement and drama, knowing they’ll be able to get home safely after the final whistle.”
