Greggs will close all of it shops from Tuesday amid the cornavirus outbreak.
The bakery follows fast-food chain McDonalds in taking the decision after it closed the doors of all its UK and Ireland restaurants on Monday.
The news was announced on social media in a statement which said: “To keep everyone as safe as possible we have made the difficult decision to close all of our shops.”
The bakery say despite measures being put in place to keep the shops open and safe it had “become clear” they all had to close completely.
