Lidl customers are being urged not to eat one of their nut products over fears it may contain glass.

The supermarket has recalled Simply Roasted and Salted Cashews because they may contain glass.

The recall, issued via the Food Standards Agency, affects the 125g bags of Simply Roasted and Salted Cashews with a best-before date of June 28, 2026.

Customers are being asked to return the product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.

“Lidl GB is recalling the above product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling it.

“These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought it,” the FSA notice said.

The recall notice specifically affects England, Scotland, and Wales.

Lidl apologised for the inconvenience, and thanks customers for their cooperation.
