The dates for the quarter-finals of the League Cup have been announced as Premier Sports confirm this round’s live games.
Three of the four games will be shown live by the tournament’s sponsors with a trip to Hampden awaiting the winners.
First up will be Kilmarnock vs Dundee United at Rugby Park on Tuesday, October 18, in a game that will be shown live on Premier Sports.
Then on the following day Motherwell will host champions Celtic in a 6.15pm kick-off as the Hoops look to defend the trophy they won last year and in five of the previous six.
Aberdeen and Partick Thistle then kick off at 7.45pm at Pittodrie before Dundee travel to Ibrox to play Rangers in a 8.15pm kick-off.
The Celtic and Rangers games will both be shown back to back on the Wednesday night.
Ange Postecoglou won his first Celtic trophy in the League Cup last season after a 2-1 final victory over Hibernian at Hampden.
Rangers have won the tournament more than anyone else but have failed to lift the trophy in over a decade since winning it for the 27th time in the 2010/11 season.
