Statistics released by the Scottish Government revealed the test positivity rate had risen to 11.4%.

A further 21 people have died and 3375 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours. 

On Tuesday, statistics released by the Scottish Government revealed the test positivity rate had risen slightly from 11.3% to 11.4%.

There were 1064 patients in hospital who had tested positive for the virus, an increase of 16, with 89 of those in intensive care, a decrease of one. 

As of Tuesday, 4,144,904 people have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccination while 3,788,551 have received their second dose.

Due to IT issues on Monday, the Scottish Government said that affected data would be included in Tuesday’s Covid-19 reports.
