Parts of the M8 are blocked in both directions following a collision in North Lanarkshire.
The crash at Junction 4A means traffic is currently restricted eastbound while delays are building up on the westbound carriageway.
Traffic Scotland said: “The M8 at Junction 4A Heartlands is currently restricted in both directions due to a road traffic accident.
“Road users are advised to take caution on approach and allow extra time for their journey.”
The M8 eastbound at Junction 3 near Livingston is also restricted due to a broken-down vehicle.
Motorists are advised to use caution on approach.
