Celtic legend Charlie Gallagher has died at the age of 80, the club has announced.
Gallagher, a forward, played for the Parkhead side for 12 years, having joined in 1958.
He made a total of 171 appearances for Celtic, scoring 32 goals, before his departure in 1970 to Dumbarton where he played 70 games and scored 29 goals.
Famously, he delivered the corner from which Billy McNeill scored a header to win the 1965 Scottish Cup.
He was also part of the renowned Lisbon Lions side that lifted the European Cup in 1967.
Gallagher picked up two caps for the Republic of Ireland and played for Yoker Athletic during his career.
Celtic said that their players will wear black armbands in their friendly match against Bristol City on Wednesday night as a mark of respect.
