Travellers arriving in Scotland from Canada and Denmark will no longer need to self-isolate after the countries were added to the green list.

Finland, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Switzerland, and the Azores have also been placed on the green list.

The changes came into effect from 4am on Monday and were agreed following scientific analysis of the latest data.

Arrivals from green list countries do not need to self-isolate upon their return to Scotland, but are required to take Covid test before travelling and book a PCR upon arrival.

Fully vaccinated people returning from amber list countries are not required to isolate on their return to the UK.

Montenegro and Thailand are the latest countries to have been added to the red travel list.

Travellers arriving into the country from red list areas must quarantine in a hotel for ten days upon arrival into Scotland.
