A fire gutted the inside of a derelict factory in Dumfries on Monday night.
The blaze was discovered at the former Gates site in Heathhall shortly before 10pm and firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.
Police have appealed to the public for help in their investigation into the fire on Edinburgh Road, which resulted in the closure of the A701 both north and south at the Locharbriggs junction.

This is not the first incident at the former Interfloor building, which stands at three storeys tall.
Dumfries and Galloway Council published a development brief for the Category B site in 2019 which advised that retaining it was preferable to demolition.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
