Yousaf faces FMQs as Scottish Government set to ban XL bullys

The First Minister could face questions on the date of an XL bully ban in Scotland and Horizon IT scandal pardons.

Humza Yousaf is answering the first FMQs of 2024 where he could update the Scottish Parliament on a potential XL bully ban.

It comes after reports of the dogs being rehomed in Scotland ahead of a prohibition in England and Wales which comes into force at the start of February.

Ahead of an expected announcement, the Scottish Government warned people against bringing XL bullies north of the border.

The First Minister could also face questions over the Horizon IT scandal.

The SNP leader announced on Wednesday that he wanted to work with the UK Government to exonerate the Post Office workers who were wrongly convicted.
