iStockUS Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has appealed for help in finding Irn-Bru during her trip to Scotland.
Ocasio-Cortez, the US Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district, is in Glasgow for COP26.
The Democrat made the journey to the summit as part of as part of a US congressional delegation.

In response, Ocasio-Cortez wrote: “I am trying to get my hands on some!
“So far it’s been nonstop work with no real independent time so I am hoping for a window to find some.
“The schedule has us leave early and get back late. Where do I find it?? Do y’all have bodegas here?”
In a later response, the politician added that during her time in Scotland, she hopes to find some Irn Bru, touch Harris Tweed and to see a castle.
