Rishi Sunak to face Suella Braverman questions from Sir Keir Starmer at PMQs UK Parliament

Rishi Sunak is to come under increasing pressure to sack Suella Braverman amid a row over a breach of the ministerial code at Prime Minister’s Questions.

The home secretary is accused of working for the Rwandan government in training lawyers for several years before striking a deal to send asylum seekers to the country on behalf of the UK Government.

Braverman is also under fire over a speeding ticket she received last summer and claims her aide then lied about the circumstances surrounding the penalty.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer is likely to attack the PM in the Commons over the claims when the two face off on Wednesday afternoon.

The Tories are also set to come under further fire for the conduct of former PM Boris Johnson during lockdown after police began a probe into claims his friends visited Chequers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
