Rishi Sunak faces PMQs following Scottish Tory conference speech

It will also be the Rishi Sunak's last PMQs ahead of England's local elections.

Rishi Sunak is taking questions from MPs for the first time since his speech at the Scottish Conservative Party conference in Glasgow last weekend.

The Prime Minister will also face Keir Starmer for the last time ahead of England’s local elections, which will take place on Thursday.

During the Scottish Tory conference, Sunak confirmed there will be no more powers for the Scottish Parliament, accusing Holyrood of not fully using the powers it already has.

Following his speech – in which he attacked the SNP for a lack of transparency – he was accused of restricting journalists from asking him questions.

The Conservative Party leader initially limited attending journalists to just six questions from “approved” members of the media.

The reporters were eventually let in by the party to join the Q&A.
