John Swinney is answering questions on the tenth anniversary of Scotland voting No in 2014’s independence referendum.
The First Minister will take MSPs’ questions after they sparred on Wednesday in the Scottish Parliament on the nation’s future in the UK.
Opposition leaders have urged the SNP to move on from the “division” they say was sparked by the independence debate.
Swinney said he still believed Scotland would become an independent country but he wanted to win the support of a sustained majority of Scots.
The Scottish Conservatives have accused the SNP of being distracted by the constitution and presiding over a “lost decade”.
