Scots who signed up for postal votes may be unable to vote due to a delay in their ballots being delivered, John Swinney has warned.

The First Minister sounded the alarm after the Electoral Management Board for Scotland said there had been “many difficulties experienced with the delivery of postal votes” across the country.

Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak has said he is “hurt and angry” to hear a Reform UK campaigner use racial slurs against him.
