Stephen Flynn is urging voters to back the SNP to “hold Labour to account” as he claimed the party is on course for a “super-majority”.

The SNP Westminster leader made a plea to voters as the campaign enters its final week ahead of the July 4 General Election.

Meanwhile, Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar said Scotland would be at the heart of a “decade of renewal” under a government led by Keir Starmer.

Elsewhere, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer went head-to-head on tax, migration and trans and women’s rights in the last TV debate before voters head to the polls.
