Alex Salmond launched Alba’s manifesto on Wednesday as he claimed the party is now the “natural home” of independence supporters.
The former first minister insisted that only his party has a “strategy to deliver independence” in its prospectus to voters.
Meanwhile, the Conservatives continue to be engulfed in the row over General Election betting, with officials looking into a fifth candidate.
And Labour has withdrawn support for one of its candidates for betting on himself losing.
