Candidates confirmed for by-election to replace late SNP MSPiStock

The candidates for the by-election to succeed the late MSP Christina McKelvie have been announced.

The long-standing MSP for Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse died at the age of 57 in early April at Glasgow Royal Infirmary after a lengthy battle with secondary breast cancer.

The vote will take place on Thursday, June 5 with polling stations open between 7am and 10pm.
