A probe into the death of a woman is under way after police discovered a body in Aberdeen.
Officers were called to a property at Belmont Gardens at around 7.40pm on Thursday.
Enquiries remain ongoing, with police confirming the 46-year-old woman’s death is being treated as unexplained.
It is currently unknown if there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45pm on Thursday, April 27, officers were called to a report of the sudden death of a 46-year-old woman on Belmont Gardens, Aberdeen.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
