A woman has been left with life-changing injuries following a crash near Crachie.
The crash, which involved a black Yamaha motorbike and a black Volkswagen Bora, happened on the B9128 near Craichie in Angus at around 3.05pm on Friday.
The 61-year-old female motorcyclist was taken to Dundee’s Ninewells Hospital, where her condition was described as critical.
Police have since confirmed that the woman has been left with life-changing injuries following the crash.
The driver of the car was not injured.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.
Constable Darren Derrick said: “Our enquiries into the crash are continuing. We are asking anyone who saw what happened and who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.
“In particular, we are keen to speak to anyone travelling on the B9128 between Craichie and Carnoustie around the time of the crash to contact us.
“Anyone who has dash-cam is also asked to check to see if they have captured something that could assist with our investigation.”
Those with information have been urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 2095 of Friday, April 24.
