A woman has been left in hospital and a man has been arrested after a crash in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to Catherine Street at around 4pm on Tuesday, after receiving reports of the collision.
A 47-year-old woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
Police confirmed that a 32-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the crash. He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We were made aware of a vehicle collision on Catherine Street in Aberdeen, shortly after 4pm on Tuesday, October 17.
“A 47-year-old woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where she remains with serious injuries.
“A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 19, 2023.”
