Police are appealing for witnesses following a two-car crash on the A92 in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to the incident involving a red Toyota Aygo and a grey Volvo XC60 near Cairngorm Road around 7pm on Friday.

A 56-year-old woman who was driving the Aygo was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The road was closed for nearly three hours before reopening around 9.45pm.

Inspector Nick Searle said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to get in touch.

“We are particularly keen to hear from drivers who were in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage that could assist our investigation.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3121 of December 6.”
