A woman has been charged in connection with the murder of a man in a flat in Dundee.
Emergency services were called to the city’s Whitfield Avenue following concern for a person at around 11pm on Monday.
A 33-year-old man was found dead at the scene, and a 32-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the death.
The death is being treated as murder after an investigation was launched by police.
Officers have now confirmed the woman has been charged over the incident and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday afternoon.
A spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 32-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the death of a man in Whitfield Avenue, Dundee.
“Emergency services attended a property around 11pm on Monday, 7 March, and the 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The woman is expected to appear in court today.”
