A woman has been arrested and charged in Angus after police seized heroin and cocaine with a potential street value of more than £3,000.
Officers entered a property in West Abbey Street, Arbroath, where they found a quantity of heroin worth £2,200 and cocaine worth £1,200 on Monday, May 8.
A 38-year-old woman was charged in connection with drug misuse. She was due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court last week.
Sergeant Peter Mustard said: “We all know the misery drug misuse can cause in our local communities and this demonstrates our continued commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply in the area.
“Information from the public about drug crime is crucial to our investigations and we would urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs within the local community, to contact us.”
