Woman charged after a street in Aberdeen’s city centre was forced to close due to an incident on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Union Street at around 7.20pm following reports of concern for a person near the McDonalds.
The road was closed between Market Street and Bridge Street during the incident.
Officers have arrested and charged a 27-year-old woman following the disturbance. She is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20pm on Monday, June 8, we received a report of a concern for a person in the Union Street area of Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended and a 27-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection. She is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.”
