Woman, 36, charged in connection with attempted murder and robbery in Aberdeen

A 33-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being found injured following a disturbance in the early hours of Saturday.

A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder and robbery in Aberdeen.

Emergency services raced to the Marquis Road area of the city, where a 33-year-old man was found injured and taken to hospital at around 4.45am on Saturday (November 22).

A 36-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday November 24.

Detective Sergeant Niall Mullen said: “This was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public.

“We ask anyone who may have been in the area at the time and hasn’t already spoken to police, to contact us if you have any information.”
