Firefighters have been battling a blaze that took hold of gorse along the banks of a river in Moray for more than 16 hours.
Emergency services were called to the River Lossie around 6.22pm on Thursday following reports of a wildfire.
Firefighters remain on the scene and are continuing their work to make the area safe.
No injuries have been reported.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.22pm on Thursday, October 9, to reports of a fire in the open affecting gorse along the River Lossie, Lossiemouth.

“Operations Control has mobilised three appliances to the scene.
“The fire front is approximately 100 metres by 20 metres, and crews are currently working to make the area safe.
“No casualties have been reported.”
