A walker who was rescued after getting stuck in a ravine has thanked mountain rescue crews for saving him.
Tayside MRT were called out on Saturday afternoon to a walker who had slipped on rocks and had fallen into a ravine.
The man suffered a lower leg injury and was in a “very precarious position”, volunteers said.
Rescue crews were deployed to the scene and the injured walker was treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
He thanked emergency services for pulling him out of a “tricky” situation.
Tayside MRT said on Facebook: “The team were called out this afternoon for a walker who had slipped on rocks and ended up in a very precarious position with a lower leg injury.
“After a technical rescue, the casualty was handed over to the Ambulance Service.
“We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.”
The casualty posted in the comments: “A huge thank you to all the services that helped me get out of this very tricky situation.
“I really don’t have enough words for you all, you are all absolutely amazing. Once again, thank you.”
