Van deliberately driven at man on city road

A man has been left “shaken” after a van was deliberately driven at him on a road in Dundee.

Emergency services were called to Nursery Road at around 10.30am on Tuesday after a blue Citroen Berlingo was driven at the 35-year-old.

He was uninjured but left “shaken”, police said.

Officers are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

The van was last seen heading towards Forthill Road.

Constable Michael Smith said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed what happened to contact police.

“In addition, we would urge anyone with dash-cam, mobile phone or CCTV footage around the time of the incident to get in touch, as it may assist with our enquiries.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1058 of March 11, 2025.
