An urgent search has been launched for an elderly woman who has gone missing from Broughty Ferry.
Violet Hogg was last seen in Cliffburn Gardens around 12.15am on Sunday.
The 71-year-old is described as 4ft 11ins tall, with short grey hair and wears glasses.
When last seen, she was wearing a purple jacket, black trousers, black and white trainers and was walking with a stick.
Inspector Jamie Webster said: “Concerns are growing for Violet’s welfare, and we are keen to trace her as soon as possible to make sure she is safe.
“If you have seen someone matching Violet’s description, or have any information on where she may be, please get in touch with officers.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1157 of February 8, 2026.
