Two women have been seriously injured in a deliberate house fire in Dundee.
Police were called to the fire at a property on Watson Street around 1.40am on Sunday.
Two women, aged 22 and 28, were taken to Ninewells Hospital with serious injuries.
A number of nearby properties were evacuated as a result of the blaze.
Officers are now searching for two men who were seen near Watson Street at the time of the fire, heading in the direction of Baxter Park.
They are described as wearing dark clothing with their hoods up.
Detective inspector Julia Key said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am asking anyone who was in the area at the time and who might have seen something to get in touch.
“Similarly, anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage which may have captured something is urged to contact us.”
