Two teenagers have been charged with robbery and attempted theft during the early hours of Monday morning.
The first incident occurred at around 5.15am on Aberdeen’s Crown Street. Police were then alerted to an attempted robbery on Chapel Street 15 minutes later.
Officers have charged two males, aged 17 and 14, in connection with the incidents.
Reports are due to be submitted to the relevant authorities.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two males, aged 17 and 14, have been arrested and charged following a robbery and an attempted robbery in Aberdeen.
“The robbery happened around 5.15am on Monday, April 20, 2026, on Crown Street.
“The attempted robbery happened around 5.30am on the same date on Chapel Street.”
