Two teens have been charged after video showing men with a gun at harbour in Aberdeenshire circulates online.
Police confirmed that two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, have been arrested and charged after a video showing a gun being shot in the Fraserburgh Harbour area was posted online.
The two teens are set to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on May 20.
Additional patrols have been put in place in the area as enquiries continue.
Police added that there is nothing at this stage in the investigation to suggest any risk to the wider public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two males, aged 17 and 18, have been arrested and charged after videos circulating online appeared to show a firearm being discharged in the Fraserburgh Harbour area.
“They are due to appear at Peterhead Sherriff Court on Monday, May 20, 2024.
“Additional patrols are in place as enquiries continue, although there is nothing at this stage to suggest any risk to the wider public.”
