Two 16-year-old boys are among six male youths charged after disorder linked to football in Dundee.
Trouble broke out in the city centre following the Scottish Premiership final-day clash between Dundee and Aberdeen on Sunday, May 17.
Police say they have identified and charged six males in connection with offences linked to incidents in around Dens Park.
Each person involved will be banned from football matches in the future, Police Scotland said.
Local Area Commander Colin Echevarria said: “We have a strong football culture in the city with passionate supporters.
“The overwhelming majority of fans who attended the Dundee and Aberdeen game acted responsibly and enjoyed the occasion.
“Unfortunately, the actions of a small number of individuals led to unacceptable behaviour which required police intervention and subsequent investigation.
“As a result of these enquiries, we have now identified and charged six males in connection with offences linked to incidents in and around the stadium.
“They will be subject of reports to the relevant authorities. Both football clubs are supportive and each person involved will be banned from matches in the future.
“We will continue to work closely with clubs, partners and local communities to ensure football remains safe and enjoyable for everyone.
“Violence, disorder and anti-social behaviour have no place in our city and those choosing to engage in this type of conduct will be tracked down and face the consequences.
“I would also like to recognise the efforts of officers and staff involved in the operation and thank members of the public who provided assistance during our enquiries.
“Dundee deserves to be known for its communities, its football and its people. Not for the actions of a small minority.”
