Two suspects have been charged after more than £240,000 of drugs were seized in Aberdeen on Tuesday.
At around 9 am, officers witnessed people acting suspiciously inside a vehicle in the Catherine Street area of the city.
A search was carried out and a quantity of cocaine, along with a three-figure sum of cash. Following the discovery, a property on Urquhart Court was searched, where almost 20kg of cannabis was recovered along with around £32,000 in cash.
The two men, aged 28 and 21, are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Detective constable Nick Bowyer said: “This was a sizeable recovery which highlights the work being carried out to tackle serious and organised crime and disrupt those involved.
“We remain committed to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and Scotland’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
“Information from the public is vital in helping target those involved in the supply of drugs. Anyone with concerns about drugs in their area is encouraged to contact police on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
