Two men have been taken to hospital following a crash on the A90 road near Ellon.
The crash occurred at around 7.30am on Friday, August 7, involving two vehicles.
Emergency services including police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene.
A fire spokesperson sent two appliances, but left shortly after making the scene safe.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed two men had been transported to hospital.
They said: “We received a call at 7.41am today to attend an incident on the A90. We dispatched two ambulances and our special operations team to the scene.
“We transported two male patients to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
The A90 was closed for a few hours while police investigated and has since reopened.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
