Two men due in court after £13,500 of drugs seized in raid

Two men have been charged in connection with drug offences after £13,500 worth of cocaine and cannabis were seized from a property in Dundee.

Officers attended Charleston Drive in Dundee on Sunday May 14 and recovered around £13,500 worth of controlled drugs including cocaine and cannabis and a large quantity of cash.

The men, aged 22 and 45, were arrested and charged and are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, June 6.

Sergeant Paton, of Lochee community police team said: “Drugs continue to cause misery to people within our community and our team is committed to identifying offenders in relation to drug supply and arresting those responsible.

“The public has a major role to play in these cases and we continue to request the support of the public. I would encourage anyone with any concerns to contact 101.”
